Crises Therapy
Therapy
A crisis is an all-encompassing matter that occupies one’s thoughts relentlessly. It’s something that one wishes to escape from thinking about, yet its impact remains palpable even when attempting to divert attention. The toll it exacts is difficult to conceal, and its presence continues to weigh heavily. It is a common aspiration to return to the emotional state one experienced before a crisis, yet regrettably, life and our psychological processes do not conform to such a linear path. Instead, we tend to evolve and gain strength through adversity and trauma, and we acquire valuable lessons from the losses we endure. My purpose is not to offer unfounded optimism, but rather to emphasize that excessive worry cannot alter past events. We must refrain from expending energy on matters beyond our control. Our locus of control resides within ourselves—our thoughts, emotions, and actions. Your well-being is of utmost importance.
